Some quick deets:
Q: Will these books be available after the Kickstarter?
A: They will! But we don’t have a retail release date just yet. And it will just be the ebooks and maybe regular old paperbacks (no foil, no flippy floppy) on the retail vendors. So the reversible special editions with the foil and all of the art will only be available through the Kickstarter.
If you like fancy, collectible editions and the ancillary goodies, the Kickstarter is the only way to get those!
Q: Will there be a limited number and will you run out?
A: There will be a limited number of boxes available with early bird pricing. There is also only a limited number that we can ship to arrive in October, so if you want yours in time for Spooky Season, back early to claim your spot! No one will be charged until August 11th regardless of when they back the project. If those sell out, we’ll make more available that will ship at a later date. Ebooks come with every tier and all ebooks will be available to backers in late August regardless of your ship date for print books.
Q: How long does the Kickstarter last? When do I get my treats?
A: The Kickstarter ends August 11th! Ebooks will be sent at the end of August/beginning of September, and the first round of boxes will go out in time for Halloween season. Everything else will be shipped by April at the latest.
Q: Are these standalones? Do I need to read in order?
These are all standalones, and there's no need to read in order! The stories are all connected through the world of the shadow market, and are very loosely interrelated, but each story follows a separate couple and ends in an HEA. Unlike Stallone's cinematic oeuvre, there are no cliffhangers.
